What To Expect

As always, one of the best things about 10 Minute Solution videos is the freedom to do a quick workout or mix and match for longer and varied routines.

The first segment in this video, "Basic Training", teaches you the basics of kickboxing while keeping your blood pumping. It's pretty easy if you're an experienced kickboxer. "Ultimate Buns and Thighs" focuses on your lower body with a series of kicks, plies and lunges that have your legs burning.

"Arm and Shoulder Sculptor" works your upper body with hand weights and punches. I personally haven't ever been a fan of punching while holding weights, especially if the punches are rapid. I recommend punching without the weights or using the lightest weight possible.

"Fat Burning Blast" is the most challenging of them all. You'll do squats, planks, slides, steps and jumps. The 5th, "Washboard Abs" works your obliques, lower abs and upper abs through a series of crunches, planks, and Pilates moves.

As with all the 10 Minute Solution videos I try, I like to do the whole video to see how I feel about the entire workout before doing any picking and mixing of segments. I felt like I got a good workout this morning using this cardio DVD. I'm sure I'm going to feel the soreness of it tomorrow, especially in my thighs. That's always a good thing because it means the exercise routine works. This is definitely one I'll be doing again.
