Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe The Best Tasting Soup I've Ever Had
This is my own personal cabbage soup diet recipe. I was blown away when I tasted how delicious it was. The key ingredient here is the red jalapeno pepper. It gives it some kick without being too spicy. I'm the type of person who puts Tabasco sauce on everything, but this soup did not need any at all. The flavors mesh well together and soak into each other when you use the saute method I outline below. Try this recipe and I guarantee you'll be addicted. Ingredients 1 medium sized onion, quartered and sliced thin 6 carrots 4 stalks of celery 3 medium cloves garlic, chopped 1-2 tsp minced fresh red chili pepper (Serrano, or jalapeno) 2 cups vegetable broth (low sodium) 1 diced tomato 3-4 cups chopped cabbage Garlic salt and basil to taste Directions: Boil broth, carrots, and cabbage. Saute onions, garlic, celery, pepper, and tomatoes in a pan till softened. Add sautéd mix to broth. Sprinkle basil, garlic and onion salt to taste and boil till all veggies are tender.
