How It Works

This energetic aerobic workout is designed to get your heart rate up and burn fat in only 15 minutes a day.

Who It's For

This exercise DVD will benefit those that don't have a lot of time to work out. If you have a busy schedule you can take small steps toward improving your health with this workout.

What To Expect

As someone with no dance experience, it was hard to keep up with the fast-paced dance moves. I found myself doing it wrong and improvising steps just to keep moving, but on about the 3rd day, I was able to keep up better. By then I found the moves were actually pretty basic dances: wide marches, the shuffle, the grapevine.

Lydia Haskell tries to make it easier to keep up with the moves by dividing her instructions into 3 tempos. In the first tempo, you learn the steps. In the second you put the moves together. In the third tempo you rev up the pace, dancing all the choreography with more energy.

This cardio workout is fun and quick. Lydia has a fun personality without being annoying (I've found many cardio instructors can be overly bubbly).

I recommend that you exercise longer than 15 minutes a day, but this workout maximizes it's short span with non-stop moves that make you sweat.
