Did you know that fat burning veggies are another weapon for you to use in your battle of the bulge?

I learned from a personal trainer and nutritional counselor Mike Geary, author of The Truth About Six Pack Abs, that there are a specific class of veggies that contain specific phytonutrients that actually help to fight against stubborn belly fat.He listed what the veggies are and explained why these unique vegetables help burn stomach fat.

First, there are chemicals in your atmosphere and in your food that force your body to hold on to belly fat. Herbicides, pesticides and petrochemicals pollute the air you breath and the water you drink. Also, household cleaners and cosmetics react with your body, and all these chemicals make you store excess belly fat.

These chemicals are known as xenoestrogens.

Xenoestrogens are chemicals that you eat, drink and touch, and they have an estrogenic effect on your body. That means that these chemicals can cause a hormone imbalance for both men and women. This hormone imbalance can disrupt your moods, your cravings and your metabolism, adding fat to your waste line and putting you at risk for cancer and other diseases.

So here’s where this specific class of vegetables comes in handy…

One of the tricks that Mike teaches his clients during a nutritional counseling session is the use of cruciferous vegetables to burn belly fat.
