How It Works

Personal Training with Jackie Power Circuit Training is a 43 minuteworkout that sculpts and tones using circuit training and an additional four 15 minute workouts designed to target abs, lower body, upper body, and total body.

Who It’s For

Experienced exercisers who know good form and can keep up with quick pace and transitions. If you’re a little shaky on proper form, don’t worry. Jackie does a great job of describing what is proper, but it helps if you’re already familiar. You need two sets of weights, a lighter pair and a heavier pair ranging from 3-10 pounds, and a mat.

What To Expect

Expect a workout that is no frills and straight forward. The larger section features 9 circuits that target quads, hamstrings, glutes, chest, back, shoulder/biceps/triceps, upper abs, lower abs, and obliques. Fully expect to feel sore the next day.

Experiment with your resistance weight with these exercises. Jackie encourages you to use the heaviest you can handle, but I always start lighter than what I can handle then increase once I’m familiar with the routine to minimize the risk for injury.

The routine moves pretty quickly, which leaves little chance for boredom or rest. I was sweating and burning but felt good and accomplished while doing it.

This toning DVD is super easy to navigate and tells you before hand what area of the body you will be working on for each circuit.

Overall this is a great DVD that is well thought out, well executed and will challenge you to a new level of fitness.
