In this article we answer the popular sauna weight loss question. I absolutely love sitting in the sauna after a session on the treadmill and bike at the gym. I do my stretching routine in the sauna and I feel that stretching and sweating in that heat completes my workout! A person weighing around 160 pounds will burn burn about 300 calories during a 30-minute session in the sauna. That number changes based on your individual BMR, in addition to the temperature settings in the sauna and the amount of time you spend in the heat.
