How It Works

Trainer’s Edge Killer Abs and Back with Michael Olajide is a 40 minute workout that targets your sculpts your abs and back into great shape. Say goodbye to love handles and stomach flab.

Who It’s For

Intermediate to advanced. Optional tools for this toning DVD is a jump rope, 3 pound dumbells, ankle weights, and a body bar (for balancing). If you don’t have a body bar, use a broom stick.

What To Expect

Burn belly fat away with a variety boxing moves that keep your core engaged as you twist, punch and sweat. Instructor Michael Olajide mixes in some jump rope to keep your heart rate up and keep your metabolism burning. If you don’t have a rope you can pretend and do the movements without one.

For the second half you move down to your mat. You work your core with crunches, situps, leg lifts and Pilates style movements that have your abs burning. My body was screaming for mercy and I had to take a few breaks. I guess that’s why it’s called “killer abs.”

This workout is short but very muscle-engaging and intense. This is a true sculpting workout. No frilly dancing, no-nonsense, but still fun.

I’ve worked out with a Michael Olajide video before, but I can’t remember what it was called. I do remember liking his style though, and it hasn’t changed a bit. This guy is awesome and this toning routine is awesome. Definitely a keeper.
