For a Long Term Slim Down

8 simple weight loss tips can help you lose weight and improve your health. Weight loss motivation tips are a great way to get started.

Incorporate these guidelines into your daily life and see what a difference it makes.

1. The most important thing you can do for yourself is drink enough water.

It’s been recommended that you drink (6-8) 8oz glasses of water a day. That may sound like a lot and I too thought so at one point. Then I started drinking 16.9 oz bottles of water throughout the day. Before I knew it, I was drinking (3) 16.9 oz bottles of water a day. That’s the equivalent of 6 glasses of water per day and it felt effortless.

There are so many benefits to drinking water. It helps you feel full and is great for your digestive system. Water hydration helps you avoid constipation. Constipation will slow down your digestive system, reck your metabolism, and impede your weight loss.

2. Eat 5-6 meals per day.

Doing this has two major benefits: 1. It will insure that you never feel hungry enough to binge. 2. Your metabolism stays high because you’re constantly digesting food.

Plan accordingly:

3. Eat foods that are high in fiber like whole grains, fruits, and nuts.

A diet high in fiber can combat high cholesterol and other diseases. Fiber gives you the feeling of being full and it will regulate your bowels, benefiting your digestive system.

4. Consume a good amount of raw foods.

Raw vegetables have more nutrients and enzymes than vegetables that have been cooked. Heat changes the chemistry of food and strips food of these important elements. By eating enough raw foods, you ingest healthy enzymes that promote weight loss. Raw vegetables are typically low in calories, so by eating more of them, you benefit from feeling full without the guilt.

5. Don’t skip the carbs.

In today’s society, carbohydrates have been vilified by popular diets that claim carbohydrates are bad for you and make you fat.

But good carbohydrates regulate your blood glucose levels, resulting in fewer cravings.

Stick to whole grains, wheat flour, fruits, and nuts for a great source of good carbs.

6. Eat your protein.

Protein builds muscle, and muscle burns fat.

Eggs, milk, yogurt, cheese and fish are all good sources of protein.

Soy is also a good source of protein. Soy milk, soy beans, and tofu all provide more than adequate amounts of protein needed to build lean muscle and stay thin. But eat soy in moderation.

7. Avoid diet soda.

Seemingly, this is one of the most difficult weight loss tips for people to follow. Drinking diet sodas with aspartame increases cravings for actual sugar. Not to mention aspartame is a very dangerous chemical.

8. Have regular bowel movements.

Regular bowel moments is essential in clearing out waste and making room for healthy food. Many people overlook the vital importance of thisweight loss tip. A healthy digestive system means a healthy metabolism, more energy and a healthier body.

So go poop!

Using these weight loss tips on a daily basis, your body will begin to change for the better. Every day, remind yourself of the weight lossmotivation tips that you’ve read on this site and others. Get plenty of exercise and eat right. Ready. Set. Go!
